Garry McLean is the 1st recipient of the Guidance Department Scholarship - Holmwood Technical High School. . Garry will read for his Human Resource Management degree at UTech in September 2007.

The Guidance Department Scholarship was established to help at least one needy student who will matriculate to a tertiary institution in September of each year. The scholarship is funded by various contributors and fund raising efforts.

The value of one scholarship will be approximately JA$30,000. If the target is exceeded, then more students will benefit from the venture. Hence, the more money we have in the pool, the more students we will help to help realize their dreams.
